The Most Valuable Book

Burundi is one of the world's poorest countries in the world. One aspect of such poverty is the low level of education. Literacy is less than 60%. This creates a problem where church and community leaders may have the responsibility to lead, but may not have the resources to fulfil their role.

Lukole Bibles 22

The Bible has been translated into Kirundi,
the most widely spoken language in Burundi, and bibles are much sought after. Pastors may have a bible, but it may not be complete and is typically old and in poor condition.

Rema has benefited from the donation of bibles in Kirundi, which we have been able to distribute over the years to many, particularly to church leaders.

“God has visited me again, as I get this gift of a new
Bible. I was not feeling comfortable as I was standing
before people sharing the good news using a very
torn bible. So many times, though I had no any other
choice, I was feeling ashamed to use that bible. My
torn and old bible was not complete. Now, look here I
have a complete Word of God. It is amazing.
Thank you and thank you”
